Apple iPhone – Are The New Smartphones Compatable With Multiple Operating Systems?

Microsoft Window Compatibility: The iPhone will work with Windows XP Home or Professional (SP2) and Windows Vista.
International Capability: The iPhone is actually a quad-band GSM phone and will work anywhere in the world where GSM coverage is available. However, international roaming and dialing must be enabled through AT&T.
The iPhone and email systems: The iPhone supports both POP3 and IMAP and works with most of the popular email services such as Yahoo! Mail, AOL, .Mac Mail and Google Gmail.

The phone also boasts up to 250 hours of standby time.
Battery Replacement: The battery in the iPhone was designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 400 full charge/discharge cycles. Battery replacement will not be needed until it can no longer hold a sufficient charge to fit your needs.
Viewing Web Sites: The iPhone includes the Safari web browser and allows you to visit web sites in the same manner as you would on your personal computer.
Internet Access: If you are not able to obtain a Wi-Fi connection, you will still be able to access the Internet using AT&T’s Edge data network.
