Getting readers to your blog in the proper manner is the most essential thing. Whenever you publish a new post, its very important to get traffic to your post. I am going to tell you ways by which you can get immediate traffic to your site -
1) After publishing a post, go to http://www.digg.com/ , if you are registered, then log in and if you aren’t a registered user then Signup for a new digg account. After that click on Submit New button. Fill up all the details and then your’e done
. You will start getting traffic instantly because your link will immediately come in the all upcoming section and also the category you’ve selected for your post.
2) Submit a link of your latest blog post in forums that are related to your post.
3) Create a discussion in BlogCatalog with a link to your latest post. You will get traffic as people are always in the search of fresh content, the only thing is that you need to introduce it.
4) Post comments on sites related to your latest blog post, with a link to it.
5) Also use Technorati to get readers.
6) Go to http://www.blogsearch.google.com/ping and paste your site’s URL there so your latest posts get indexed in google’s Blogsearch.
7) Also add your blog to Blog Directories such as Blogarama.com, eatonweb.com, blogtoplist.com, biggerblogger.com, blogdir.com .
