Everyone wants to know where his/her blog traffic comes from. So we have http://www.feedjit.com/
This website allows you to monitor your website/blog traffic. It has several widgets to embed on your site such as Live Traffic Feed, Live Traffic Map, Recommended Reading and Page popularity.

So if you are interested in getting feedjit for your blog/website, follow these steps -
1) Go to http://www.feedjit.com/ and click on “Get FEEDJIT”

2) Now make your choice between a Javascript widget and Image widget -

After making your choice, select which one of the widget you want, if interested customize it and then embed the code on your website/blog

I use the reader but I don’t find it that effective. It would be much better if it didn’t register my own activity on my own blog.

Choose options at the bottom of the widget and click “Ignore my browser”. You need to do this for all types of browser you use. Then your activity will not be registered. simple. Great widget this is.

I get the same information from site feed
it tells me how many page views, hits that I have every hour, week, month and year.
It also tells me who is on my site, where they are from and what article they came as an entry and where they exited.
It’s great for letting you know the amount of time spent on the site and how many page views. (if more than 1 it means they are clicking on your other posts, which is good)
