Customize icons in Vista

You may find your folders look quite boring at times but dont worry Windows Vista allows you to customize your icons  -

( I am going to change icon of the “Themes” folder for demonstration )

1) Select the folder whose icon you want to change, right click and go to its properties

2) Now got to the Customize tab.

3) Now you will see “Change icon”, click on it.

4) A new window will now open and over there you will see many icons. You either chose an icon from the list or click on “Browse” if you wish to use any particular icon and then you click on “OK”.

5) Now you will get back to the “Customize” tab. Here also you select “OK”.

6) You’re done. The icon of the folder has changed.
