Job Description
1. About 7-10 years in process engg. /tech transfer in reputed organizations out of which at least 1-2 years at Asst. Manager or equivalent position is desirable.
2. Candidate should have adequate exposure to ICH Q7A, Schedule M and other relevant guidelines.
3. Candidate should have good experience in basic/detailed engineering.
a. Conceptual and Detailed Process Design & Process Optimization/ Troubleshooting / Debottlenecking / Scale-up
b. Involving evaluation of process-
a.Collection of Technical Data for setting new process & HAZOP study.
b. MSDS of chemicals.
c. Qualification and Validation
2. Operating Cost and Improvement Programs
3. Equipment Selection and MOC
4. Vendors
5. Safety Systems
6. Environmental Requirements
c. Process Data Sheets for equipment & instruments
d. Utility sizing
e. PFD – Process Flow Diagrams (including mass and energy balances)
f. P&ID – Piping and Instrument Diagrams
g. Instrumentation requirement philosophy
h. Electrical Elementaries
i. Functional specifications for automation & Control Systems
j. Awareness of Hazardous Materials
k. Plant Layout Design and Piping Design
l. Waste treatment and Pollution prevention schemes
4. Exposure in conceptual design of facility, clean room for API /drug intermediates.
5. Exposure / involvement in green field project is desirable but not essential.
6. Should be well-versed with budgeting and planning.
7. Candidate should be a self motivated team builder & leader.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate should have adequate computer literacy like MS Office.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software like MS Project is desirable.
