RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTOR (EXECUTIVE)-MALE AND SUB-INSPECTOR (EXECUTIVE)-WOMAN
IN DELHI POLICE – 2009 (PHASE-II)
Applications are invited to fill 380 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male and 82 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Woman in Delhi Police -2009 under the following categories in the pay scale of PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- and other allowances as admissible. Recruitment will be held at Delhi for which candidates from all parts of the country fulfilling conditions mentioned hereunder can apply:-
SUB-INSPECTOR (EXE.)-MALE : 380
WOMAN SUB-INSPECTOR (EXE.) : 82
The last date of receipt of application form will be 26.12.2009. Applications received thereafter will not be entertained.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
NATIONALITY:
Applicant should be a bonafide citizen of India.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university at the time of filling up of application form.
AGE:
AGE (MALE CANDIDATE): 20 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009, i.e. those born not earlier than 02.07.1984 and not later than 01.07.1989 will be eligible
AGE (FEMALE CANDIDATE): 20 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009, i.e. those born not earlier than 02.07.1984 and not later than 01.07.1989 will be eligible

MODE OF FILLING UP OF APPLICATION FORMS EMPLOYMENT NEWS APPLICATION FORM AND TYPED/PHOTOCOPIED APPLICATION FORM (OFFLINE):
Applicant may cut the application form given in this advertisement, fill it up and send

Application form can also be typed/photocopied on A4 size paper as per the format given in the advertisement, fill it up and send.
Applications as per format given in the advertisement/website only will be accepted.
A photograph should be firmly affixed.
A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque of Rs. 100/- should be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi) The validity of Demand/Bank Draft/Bankers cheque should be 6 months.
Duly filled-in application forms alongwith Demand/Bank Draft/Banker’s cheque should be sent through ordinary post to “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033” and write on the top of the envelop “Application for the post of Sub-Inspector (Exe.)-Male in Delhi Police-2009 (Phase-II)” or “Application for the post of Women Sub- Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-2009 (Phase-II).

Click on the “Recruitment” on the www.delhipolice.nic.in or “Apply On line for Sub-Inspector-2009” link on the websites www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in desired application form will open, which the candidate needs to fill carefully on online.
After filling the form, candidate needs to click on Preview button; a preview of the entire information filled in the application form will be displayed. Before clicking Save/Submit Application button, one can click on Modify Application button to go back to modify the filled application form information.
Candidate needs to review it carefully because the information once submitted Clicked Save/Submit Application button) can’t be altered at a later stage.
If it is filled correctly then the candidate should click on Save/Submit Application button to complete the on line applications submission and click on Print button to take out print (on 300 dpi Laser printer) of the filled Application Form on A4 size paper.
After this a Thank you message will be displayed along with the Registration No. of the candidate. This Registration No. must be noted/printed properly for future use to check the status of application on login to one’s “My Account”*. It can be printed easily by clicking on Print button on this page.
Affix firmly a photograph and put signature. (For detail refer to “Instructions for filling up the Application Form”)

WRITTEN TEST: All candidates, who qualify the physical endurance & measurement tests, shall be put through a written test of three (03) hours duration which will carry 200 marks.
